Hello gentle Americans.  I received this e-mail via Facebook in reagrds to Marie Osmonds gay son committing suicide.  If anyone is in the NYC area would like to organize a protest against Mormon Church please drop me a line. Just putting it out there.  Read below:

Don’t you think it would an interesting tactical maneuver
if ‘The Gay And Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Community’ arranged a MAJOR ‘remembrance’
or Candle Light service in front of the Mormon Church at Lincoln Center for Marie Osmond’s son?

I don’t know about you but frankly I HOLD THE MORMON CHURCH DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS DEATH, AND DON’T THINK THEY SHOULD GO UNCHECKED, OR UNCONNECTED ON SOME LEVEL. IT IS THE VERY BIGOTED,
UNMERCIFULLY UN-ACCEPTING BELIEFS THAT PROBABLY SENT HIM AWAY FROM HIS OSMOND CLAN WHICH SADLY, AND CLEARLY LEFT HIM EQUALLY ILL-EQUIPPED TO TROD HIS OWN PATH… FOR THE SAKE OF HIS OWN HAPPINESS, WHICH FRANKLY BREAKS MY HEART.

It would be the ULTIMATE way to clearly exhibit that we CAN take the high road AS A COMMUNITY, AND make them and
their church look like the bigoted separatists they are…

Having grown up DEEPLY entrenched in the Mormon Church, I know FULL WELL what a MASTERFULLY CONCEIVED, H E A V Y burden can be planted in one’s heart if that person
IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH to see it for what it is, and ROOT IT OUT. (Or AT LEAST disregard what is not working for them)

The ‘Veil’ which has (to me) CLEARLY been put forth VIA THE FUNDAMENTALIST MOVEMENT to basically ‘Shield’ us from issues regarding the ‘Bigger Picture’ if you will… is slowly starting to show more and more signs of wear and tear. WE NEED A NEW TYPE OF RELIGION IN THIS COUNTRY…
Why is it SO impossible to ELEVATE our ‘Consciousness’ to something that surely acknowledges the
existence of a higher power, but does not ENSHROUD it in such horribly ‘destructive’ dogma???

I suspect it’s probably because it’s the very ‘Powers That Be’ that wanted the ‘Fundamentalist Veil’ to be created in the first place… Kind of like the ULTIMATE Bait and Switch trick… that’s how i see it…

Yes, it would appear my inner child is getting a tad tarnished, but well, I’m still inherently jovial, with a pretty good sense of ‘BLACK’ humor… and that’s gotta account for something… Sorry for the rant,
